Review: Action Comics #957

Another of the great Rebirth titles that DC has been putting out over the last 2 weeks, Action Comics #957 sees the first meeting between the returning Superman of old and the Lex Luther of the New 52 universe. Superman has left his shadow operations behind him and revealed himself to the world in an attempt to reclaim his mantle from Lex.

The Story moves along at a brisk pace and avoids a lot of the exposition that generally drags down these jumping-on point issues. It assumes that the reader has read Superman: Lois and Clark, or at least Superman Rebirth # 1. The art is clean and enjoyable.

I am really enjoying the return of the Superman I grew up with much more that I expected.
