Action Comics 958 picks up right where the previous issue ends. We find our Superman and Lex facing off with a newly released Doomsday. Other than a small recap at the beginning, the story doesn't waste a lot of time on useless exposition. Hero punches villain, villain punches hero, and anti-hero injects himself when needed. tried and true battle of the titans fare that is very enjoyable. We also get another appearance of the mysterious Mr. Oz.

The art is really good again, Action Comics appears to be making the most of it's creative team.
