Aquaman #1 Review

Dc's Rebirth line rolls on with Aquaman 1. This issue finds Arthur and Mera attempting to bridge the gap between the Sea and the Surface world. The story is a little slow to start with, obviously the new status quo had to be explained. Once the action starts, this book really begins to find it's footing, to bad there are so few pages devoted to it.

The art is fine, but there are some scenes that have odd compositions. In one panel, Arthur is leaning against a rail, and Mera is behind him, but the way it comes across on the page, he looks like a small child standing with a full grown woman.

Overall, I am still happy with every rebirth book I have read, and Aquaman is no excetion.
